The Middlesex Basketball League is one of the main competitive adult leagues in London Basketball and is organised and administered along the same lines as the EBL. Clubs who aspire to playing in the EBL should consider playing in the MBL's Men's Premier Division first, as it easily rivals EBL's Division 4 (and sometimes Division 3) competitively.

For the last few seasons, the entire League has been operated on a Central Venue League basis at Brunel University, Kingston Lane, Uxbridge, Middlesex UB8 3PH on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

Currently the MBL only caters at a grass roots level for competitive Men's basketball. There are two Divisions at present - Men's Premier and Men's First.
